Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These Website Terms of Use apply to anyone who visits or uses quietroseproject.com, whether or not they buy anything. They cover the Site itself: how it may be used, what it does and does not promise, and what happens if it is misused. Purchases are governed by the Terms of Sale, and personal data by the Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms takes away any right that mandatory law gives you.
1. Who runs the Site
The Site is run under the trading name Quiet Rose. The operator is a private individual and not a company. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that person, together with anyone acting on that person’s behalf in running the Site. “You” means anyone who uses the Site, and “Site” means quietroseproject.com in any of its language versions, including its pages, emails that link to it and private links.
You can reach us at support@quietroseproject.com. We reply within 2 business days.
2. Accepting these terms
By using the Site you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You do not need to create an account or give any information in order to browse it.
If you are using the Site on behalf of another person, you remain responsible for your own use of it. A person who opens a private invitation link as the recipient of a gift can also rely on the Notice to Gift Recipients, and is not obliged to buy anything or to accept the gift.
3. How these terms relate to other documents
Several documents describe different parts of the shop. Each one deals with its own subject, and together they form a complete picture.
- The Terms of Sale apply when you place an order.
- The Refund Policy and the Delivery Policy explain refunds, returns and delivery.
- The Acceptable Use and Gifting Policy sets out how the gifting service may be used.
- The Privacy Policy and the Cookies and Browser Storage Notice explain how personal data and browser storage are handled.
- The Intellectual Property and Content Rights page explains what you may do with the content of the Site.
- The Book Contribution Terms apply to voluntary contributions to the book.
4. Languages
The Site is available in English, Ukrainian and Russian. We try to keep the versions consistent, but translations can contain errors or fall briefly out of date. If the versions differ, the English version prevails. That rule does not remove any right that mandatory law may give you.
5. Age
You must be 18 or over to place an order or make a contribution. The Site is not directed at children. Someone under 18 who has received a gift invitation should speak to a parent or guardian, who may write to us.
6. Where the Site can be used
The Site can be reached from many countries, but delivery is available only in Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Vinnytsia. The fact that you can read the Site in a particular place does not mean that the products can be delivered there.
You are responsible for making sure that your use of the Site is lawful where you are. We do not state that all the content is suitable or lawful in every country.
7. What you may do
You may use the Site for its intended purposes.
- Reading about the bouquets, the gifts and the book.
- Placing an order for yourself as a buyer, in line with the Terms of Sale.
- Responding to an invitation addressed to you, through your Private Page.
- Following your own order through your own Order Page.
- Making a voluntary contribution to the book.
- Contacting us with a genuine question or request.
- Sharing a link to a public page of the Site with someone else, as long as you do not suggest that we endorse you or your views.
8. What you must not do
You must not use the Site in any of the following ways, and you must not help or encourage anyone else to do so.
- In any way that breaks the law, or that harms, threatens, harasses or deceives anyone.
- To send gifts, notes or invitations that breach the Acceptable Use and Gifting Policy.
- To submit false orders, false contact messages or payments that you are not entitled to make.
- To try to discover another person’s address, phone number or delivery choices.
- To open, use or try to guess a private link that was not meant for you.
- To probe, test or get around the security of the Site, or to reach any part of it that is not offered to you, including its administration area.
- To overload or disrupt the Site, or to interfere with other people’s use of it.
- To introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material.
- To use automated tools to scrape, copy or systematically collect content from the Site, except for ordinary search-engine indexing of public pages.
- To use the content of the Site to train or feed automated systems, or to reproduce it beyond what the Intellectual Property and Content Rights page allows.
- To imply that you represent or are endorsed by Quiet Rose, or to set up a site or message that could be mistaken for ours.
9. Private links
The Private Page and the Order Page are reached through private links sent by email, and do not require a password. Anyone who has one of these links can open the page it leads to. On a Private Page, that person can also act on the invitation.
Please treat these links like a private letter. Do not forward them or post them anywhere. If you think someone else has obtained your link, write to support@quietroseproject.com. If you have received a link that does not seem to be meant for you, please do not use it. Let us know, and then ignore or delete the message.
We send gift invitations from gifts@quietroseproject.com. An invitation will never ask you for card details or for payment. If you receive a message that claims to come from Quiet Rose and asks for either, please do not respond to it, and let us know.
10. Information on the Site
We try to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but it may contain mistakes, and products, prices and availability can change. The information on the Site is general information about the shop and its products. It is not professional, medical or safety advice, and you should not rely on it alone where an allergy or a health matter is involved. Please read Product Information and Allergens, which also explains what the images on the Site represent.
The commitments we make when you place an order appear in the Terms of Sale. If you have bought something, your rights in respect of that purchase come from those terms and from the law that applies to you.
Statements on the Site about future plans, including the planned publication date of the book Quiet Rose, are plans and not promises.
11. Availability of the Site
We do not promise that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Parts of it may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems or failures at the providers on which it relies. We may also change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site, or close it, at any time.
These events do not affect an order that has been paid. An order that cannot be delivered is refunded in full under the Terms of Sale, including any tip. If a private link stops working while an order is open, please write to us.
12. Security of your device
We take reasonable care over the Site, but no website can promise to be completely free of technical risk. You are responsible for your own device, browser and internet connection, and for keeping your own security software up to date. If you use a shared device, remember that your cart and any draft order remain in that browser until they are cleared, as the Cookies and Browser Storage Notice explains.
13. What you send through the Site
When you send us a contact message, or enter a note, sender name or courier instructions, you confirm that what you send is true as far as you know, and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone’s rights. You remain responsible for it.
The Site has no public comments, reviews or forum. What you enter is not published on the Site. We use it only as described in the Privacy Policy and in the Intellectual Property and Content Rights page.
Please do not send us material you consider confidential, and please do not include card numbers in any message. If you send us an idea or suggestion without being asked, we may use it without owing you anything, but we will not use your name in connection with it without your permission.
14. Content and intellectual property
The texts, images, videos, designs and other content of the Site are protected by intellectual property law. They belong to us or are used with the permission of, or under licence from, their owners. You may view the Site and print or save pages for your personal use. The Intellectual Property and Content Rights page explains the detail, including how to tell us if you believe that your rights have been infringed.
15. Other services and websites
The Site relies on services run by other organisations. In particular, payments take place on a page run by Stripe, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Those organisations have their own terms and privacy notices, which apply to what they do under their own responsibility. We do not control them.
If the Site ever links to another website, the link is there for convenience and does not mean that we endorse that website or are responsible for its content.
16. Linking to the Site
You may link to a public page of the Site, provided you do so fairly and lawfully, and in a way that does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not suggest any association, approval or endorsement that does not exist. You must not display the Site inside a frame on another website, or link to a private link, an Order Page or a Private Page. We may ask you to remove a link if it does not meet these conditions.
17. Devices and accessibility
We try to make the Site usable on phones and computers and readable with common assistive tools, but we do not state that it meets any particular accessibility standard. The Site needs a current browser with JavaScript enabled in order to use the cart, the order form and the Private Page. If you have difficulty using any part of the Site, please write to support@quietroseproject.com and we will try to help you in another way.
18. Reporting a problem with the Site
If you notice an error, a broken page or a security weakness, please tell us at support@quietroseproject.com. If you believe you have found a security weakness, please describe it to us without testing it further, and without accessing or keeping anyone’s data. If you have received a private link or data that was not meant for you, please let us know and do not use it.
19. If these terms are breached
If we reasonably believe that someone has breached these terms, we may take whatever steps are proportionate. These may include warning that person, restricting or ending access to the Site, declining or cancelling an order, and reporting a matter to the competent authorities where that is appropriate or legally required.
If we cancel a paid order in those circumstances, the buyer is refunded in full under the Terms of Sale, including any tip. We do not charge fines or penalties for a breach of these terms. If your breach causes loss to someone, your responsibility for it is whatever the law provides.
20. Responsibility and limits
These terms deal with your use of the Site as a website. They do not reduce the commitments in the Terms of Sale or the rights you have as a buyer.
20.1 What is never limited
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in them affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
20.2 Limits that apply to the extent the law allows
To the extent the law allows, the Site is provided as it is and as it is available, and we do not give any promise about it beyond those stated in these terms and in the documents they refer to.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that arises only from your use of, or inability to use, the free pages of the Site where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable, or for business loss. Such business loss includes loss of profit, loss of opportunity and loss of data.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the latest version appears on this page, and the version in force when you use the Site is the one that applies to that use. An update does not change the terms of an order you have already placed, and it does not add any charge or remove any right the law gives you.
22. General provisions
The following provisions apply to these terms as a whole.
22.1 Severability
If a court or other competent authority decides that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
22.2 No waiver
If we do not act on a breach straight away, that does not stop us acting on it or on any later breach. The same is true for you.
22.3 Notices
You can send us any notice under these terms at support@quietroseproject.com. If we need to give you a notice about something you have done through the Site, we will use the email address you gave us, if we have one.
22.4 Rights of others
These terms are between you and us. They do not take away any right that another person has under the law.
23. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the operator’s place of business. That choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and it does not remove any right you have to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
These terms do not require you to use arbitration, and they do not ask you to give up your right to go to court or to take part in collective proceedings available to you. If you have a problem, the Complaints and Disputes page explains how to raise it with us, but you are not required to use that route first.
24. How to contact us
Please use the contact page or write to Quiet Rose, at support@quietroseproject.com. We reply within 2 business days.
