Product Information and Allergens

This page explains what you can expect from the bouquets and gifts sold by Quiet Rose, how they may differ from what you see on the Site, and what to bear in mind about allergies and safety. It sets out general information about the products. Your rights as a buyer are in the Terms of Sale and the Refund Policy, and nothing here limits them.

1. Bouquets

Each bouquet is arranged by hand, so no two are identical, even when they have the same name and size. The shape, the balance of the flowers and the way they are wrapped may differ a little from one bouquet to the next.

Flowers may vary with the season. A variety may be in bud on one day and more open on another, and shades can differ from one delivery of flowers to the next.

2. Replacements

If a flower is unavailable, it is replaced with one of similar value and style. The price does not change. We aim to keep the character of the bouquet, including its general colour and size. If what arrives is not of similar value and style, or differs materially from what was ordered, please write to us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo, as the Refund Policy explains.

3. Images, videos and sizes

Images and videos on the Site are illustrative. They may be retouched or digitally created and may show styling ideas, and they are not a record of any particular delivery. Colours may also look different depending on your screen.

Vases, chocolates and balloons are sold separately, even when they appear in an image with a bouquet. They are included only if you add them to your order.

Photos show a large size. If you choose a smaller size, the bouquet will look smaller than in the photo and may have fewer flowers. Please rely on the size you select and the product description rather than on the appearance of an image.

4. Gift items

Chocolates, balloons, a candle, a vase and a handwritten card can be added to an order. Gifts can only be bought with at least one bouquet in the order, and they travel with it. Unused non-perishable items such as vases and candles can be returned within 14 days of delivery, arranged by email. Flowers and food cannot be returned once delivered.

If you add a handwritten card, your note is written on it by hand, so please check the spelling of names and words before you pay. The handwriting will be that of the person who prepares the card and not your own. Chocolates are best kept cool and out of direct sunlight.

5. Prices

Prices on the Site are in US dollars and include delivery in the cities we serve. No delivery charge is added at checkout, whichever products you choose.

6. Allergens

Allergies can be serious. Because the gift is for someone else, you may not know what the recipient can safely eat or touch. If you are in any doubt, it may be better to leave out items that could cause a problem. We cannot promise that any item is free of any allergen.

6.1 Chocolates

Chocolates can contain nuts, milk and gluten. They may also contain other ingredients that some people need to avoid. Please read any information supplied with the product before eating it, and if you need to know more before ordering, write to support@quietroseproject.com and we will tell you what we can. If we cannot answer with confidence, please do not rely on the item being safe.

6.2 Balloons

Some balloons are made of latex, to which some people are allergic. If this matters, please ask before ordering.

6.3 Flowers and foliage

Flowers and foliage can carry pollen and scent that may affect people with allergies, asthma or sensitive skin. Flowers cannot be guaranteed free of pollen or of any particular plant.

6.4 Candle

A scented candle can affect people who are sensitive to fragrance. Please use it in a ventilated room.

7. Children and pets

Some flowers and plants can be harmful to pets or people if eaten, and some are especially dangerous to cats. Please keep bouquets out of reach of pets and small children, and seek advice from a vet or doctor if any part of a plant has been eaten. Uninflated or burst balloons can cause choking, so please keep them away from small children. A candle should be kept out of their reach as well.

8. Safe use

A burning candle should never be left unattended. Please place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flowers, curtains and anything else that can catch fire. A vase holding water and flowers should stand on a stable surface. Please check a vase on arrival, as a chip or crack can cut. If anything arrives damaged, do not use it, and let us know.

9. Looking after the flowers

Cut flowers last longer with a little care. Trim the stems at an angle, put them in clean water, change the water every two days, and keep them away from direct heat. How long a bouquet lasts depends on the variety and the conditions in the room, and we do not promise a particular number of days. Cut flowers naturally fade with time, and this is not damage.

10. What we do not claim

We do not claim that any product holds an organic, fair-trade or similar certification, or that any product has particular health or therapeutic effects. Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, please do not assume that an item has a particular origin or composition. If such details matter to you, ask us before ordering.

11. Questions and problems

If you have a question about a product, please write to support@quietroseproject.com or use the contact page before ordering. We reply within 2 business days. If an item arrives damaged or is the wrong item, write within 48 hours of delivery with a photo, and we will replace or refund it. Mandatory consumer rights of your country remain unaffected.
